D. Woods of Danity Kane Speaks Out
On the heels of last night’s heated finale of “Making the Band,” D. Woods of Danity Kane still hasn’t confirmed whether her abrupt dismissal from the group was final or not.
“Well, you saw the man [Diddy] dismiss me from the group yesterday,” she told Ed Lover of New York’s Power 105 this morning. “The last conversation I had was when he left the room and said ‘I don’t want you here.’ So, we’re going through this whole situation now talkin’ about the real to real, because everytime we get in front of the camera, it’s a little bit you know misconstrued a little bit. So, we’re trying to get to the reality instead of reality TV right now.”
But when D. said that there should’ve been a “partnership” between Bad Boy and the girls regarding the overall vision of DK, Ed got on her. “How is it a partnership when y’all not puttin’ up no money?!”
I agree with Ed. Danity Kane need to realize that they’re stronger together than they are apart and work that sh*t out already! I understand why Puffy let them go, because none of them was really adamant about staying together.
What do you think - can Aundrea, Shannon, and Dawn make it as a trio? Are D. Woods and Aubrey better off solo? Or should Puffy just scrap the whole thing and start over?

I hope d.woods can stay in Danity Kane. I think she is a great asset and she is definitely a smart business woman in that she is not doing anybody out and leaving the possibility of a reconciliation open. As far as Aubrey I agree with Diddy she did change but I think she initially had some self esteem issues. Remember how she felt she wasn’t as talented because they didn’t use her as lead on most of the songs on the first album? Now she is more confident and with that she needs to understand that you still have to respect the person who gave you the opportunity. After they’ve established themselves then she can feel free to do her thang and start her own label. Unfortunately what she doesn’t realize is right now while the fans as fickle as we are love her the industry is viewing her in a different light. Diddy is respected in this industry and if the industry views her as hard to work with her career could be over.

I think that D.Wood should b able to come back to the group she has a lot to give.and i think that Dawn needs to chill out with her mouth about things about D.Wood if she never had anything against her and be a friend.i no Dawn is a good singer and writer but she is not the best that is in the group.but she do her i think that D.Wood is one best singers i like to listen to an watch dancer an her style is hot as hell.

I think that ed is right how can you want a partnership but your not putting up nothing …Thats like aubrey saying she thinks they should know everything diddy is doing and i feel that shes a damn fool for saying that because he been in the business way before her he should not have to tell her nothing he does.She let fame change her shes taking nasty pictures and knowing very well that fans are gonna have something to say about that.I feel that aubrey was for herself and herself only.D woods should be back in the group because this is a one time chance only and she let aubrey take that away from her.I love dawn alot because dawn told it like it is all of them was trying to hide something and then when diddy and everyone lookin into the situation and the way they act with each other they didn’t know what to say.I feel the whole thing was a fake when shannon was holding aubrey hands because shannon know very well what aubrey was doing. Aundrea needs to speak up for her self and stop letting aubrey speak up for her.Everyone sees it they don’t speak on cam like that. I feel that danity kane is still going to be strong and they gonna make it they don’t need no one else all they need is God by their side and thats the best person to have cause he will never turn his back on them. so the 3 of them need to lift their head high and keep pushing on. D woods should come go back to danity kane diddy did what he did so he can let her see that ur friends that u think is so cool can also bring u down with them.

I don’t know why Diddy kicked D. Woods out of the group, hell she was the finest one in the group and the only reason why I watched them. Shannon is about the only eye-candy left and she married.

I think Diddy was both right and wrong. He was so right for giving Aubrey the boot and wrong for giving D. Woods the boot. He asked D. Woods how she felt about the situation and commented that she didn’t seem happy with the situation and he got upset with her for expressing her feelings. She did not say that she was unhappy with the group, she said she was unhappy with the direction the group was headed in. She was the heart of the group, the Lady Swagger. No one could replace her. Let’s get real here. One the other hand, Aubrey has the wrong concept on what confidence is. You can be confident and not raunchy. You can express your independence as a woman without posing topless and presenting yourself like a total slut. D. Woods is a perfect example, she is confident and sexy but not raunchy.
