NEW MUSIC: Marsha Ambrosius “Co-Star”
There’s still no word on when Marsha from Floetry’s solo album drops, but I am definitely feelin’ this song. I was never much of a Floetry fan and always thought Marsha would be a real contender as a solo artist. (Something about the group’s whole spoken word/singing vibe never quite jelled right.)
Here’s what Marsha recently wrote about “Co-Star” on her MySpace blog:
“I love the song, it may or may not go on the album when it drops later this year… trust me, I put my heart and soul into creating it… i don’t think I’ve been this honest since i was like 5yrs…. innocent, pure, untainted, adventurous…. I’m so excited.”
