Meet the Editor
Greetings! My name is Donya and I am the Founder/Editor of Milk Magazine. After attempts at mastering the violin and flute failed in grade school (the former hurt my neck and the latter earned me my first “D”), I knew I’d have to find another way to express my love of music.
Since then, I’ve worked as an on-air personality in radio and TV (shouts to all my peoples in D.C., VA, and Philly) and as a writer/blogger for print magazines and the Internet. I launched Milk in 2007 as an homage to all the sounds I love to listen to and talk about. When not lining up exclusive interviews like these, I can usually be found eating Kashi oatmeal and dark chocolate cookies and watching “The Wire” on DVD.
