Q Parker of 112 Answers Theft Allegations

Q Parker of 112When Michael Keith of 112 first claimed that he and Slim didn’t receive their proper royalties as members of the group, he refused to call out the guilty party.

Yet, considering that the group only has four members, it wasn’t hard to figure out in whose direction his fingers were pointing — towards either Q Parker or Darron Jones. Well, now Q has come forward to clear his name. (more…)

NEW MUSIC: Q Parker of 112 “Crazy Crazy”

Q Parker of 112Slim and Mike ain’t the only members of 112 going for self. Q’s been working hard on his own solo debut, Real Talk, which is scheduled to drop in 2009.

His new joint is just highly average to us, but with all the controversy going on in the 112 world these days, we figured it deserved a posting just the same.

Mike of 112 Accuses Former Group Members of Theft

Say it ain’t so. Just when fans thought 112 would be the one group not to get broken up by money issues, member Michael Keith claims that either Darron Jones or Quinnes “Q” Parker was stealing from him.

During a recent interview to promote his new self-titled solo album, Mike said that both he and Slim left the group in 2007 because they were denied proper royalties.

Slim Celebrates ‘LovesCrazy’ and signs Faith Evans

Slim of 112At his album listening party Wednesday at NYC’s Katra Lounge, Slim of 112 made the surprise announcement that Faith Evans would be the “future first lady” of his own M3 label through Asylum.

As T3 of Slum Village spun tracks from Slim’s LoveCrazy solo debut, I asked Greg Browning, Slim’s manager, for details.

“It’s not done yet, but it is going down,” Browning told Milk Magazine. “We’re working out the deal right now. It’s actually gonna be a joint venture.” (more…)
