Cam’Ron debuts in the #3 spot this week with his comeback disc Crime Pays. After surprising everyone with her #1 debut last week, Chrisette Michele’s Epiphany slips to #8 with 113,000 units sold to date. Rick Ross follows with over 270,000 sold of Deeper Than Rap, and Ciara’s Fantasy Ride rounds out the Top 10 with 107,000.
Unfortunately, all the positive press hasn’t helped Asher Roth at the cash registers. After over a month in stores, his Asleep in the Bread Aisle has only moved 112,000 copies. Here’s a random sampling of how everyone else is doing: (more…)

Who’d have thunk it? On the strength of “There Goes My Baby,” Charlie Wilson saw his latest offering enter the charts at number two just behind country sensation Taylor Swift and selling over 58,000 copies. Go ‘head Uncle Charlie! Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and India Arie also hold strong in the Top 10 at the number five, six and seven spots respectively. Here’s a random sampling of how everyone else is doing:

India Arie and Bobby Valentino make respectable debuts in the Top 10 this week at the number three and seven spots respectively. India’s third release, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love and Politics sold 76,000 units, while over 64,000 fans copped Bobby’s independent offering, The Rebirth.
Despite claims made on his Twitter page about his album selling out “all over,” the latest Soundscan shows that rookie Ryan Leslie was in fact only able to move a paltry 24,000 copies of his own release.

Despite mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, Beyonce and Kanye West still managed to eek out platinum certifications for their latest CD’s. I Am…Sasha Fierce is the top R&B album for the week with over 1.6 million sold, while 808’s & Hearbreak comes in just under 1.2 million. Here’s a random sampling of how everyone else is doing:

Here’s a sneak peek of the trailer for Beyonce’s new movie, Obsessed, which opens in April. She plays the wife of a man (Idris Elba) who has a Fatal Attraction thing going on with a co-worker.
