Who’d have thunk it? On the strength of “There Goes My Baby,” Charlie Wilson saw his latest offering enter the charts at number two just behind country sensation Taylor Swift and selling over 58,000 copies. Go ‘head Uncle Charlie! Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and India Arie also hold strong in the Top 10 at the number five, six and seven spots respectively. Here’s a random sampling of how everyone else is doing:

Despite mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, Beyonce and Kanye West still managed to eek out platinum certifications for their latest CD’s. I Am…Sasha Fierce is the top R&B album for the week with over 1.6 million sold, while 808’s & Hearbreak comes in just under 1.2 million. Here’s a random sampling of how everyone else is doing:

Instead, Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement will feature songs from Kanye West, John Legend, Sheryl Crow, and more. You can buy the CD exclusively on the Obama site through election day with proceeds benefitting his campaign.
Deborah Cox & Christina Milian Return

Although she dropped a jazz album in ‘07 and acted in a bunch of straight-to-DVD movies, it still feels like it’s been forever since we’ve heard from Deborah Cox.
The now Miami-based singer returns to R&B for the first time in six years with The Promise, due November 11 on her own Deco Entertainment label.
