Bobby Valentino "The Rebirth"India Arie and Bobby Valentino make respectable debuts in the Top 10 this week at the number three and seven spots respectively. India’s third release, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love and Politics sold 76,000 units, while over 64,000 fans copped Bobby’s independent offering, The Rebirth.

Despite claims made on his Twitter page about his album selling out “all over,” the latest Soundscan shows that rookie Ryan Leslie was in fact only able to move a paltry 24,000 copies of his own release.

T.I.T.I.’s Paper Trail is holding strong as the #3 album in the country. With over 971,000 units sold so far, it looks like Tip will have another platinum plaque for his mantel in no time. Mary Mary debuts at #7 with The Sound, while Jennifer Hudson saw a boost in sales for her self-titled release, bringing her grand total to 355,000. Busta Rhymes Feels ‘Blessed’

Busta Rhymes on the set of the "We Made It" videoMilk was invited to a listening session for Busta Rhymes new album Blessed on Tuesday here in NYC, and what a night it was! For 5 hours, Busta talked about everything from his recent troubles with the law, his newfound sense of appreciation for friendship and family, and the return of original Flipmodian Rah Digga. (Digga, Digga! First name Rashida! Welcome back, girl.)

It was definitely one of the most intimate meetings we’ve had with an artist in a long time. The drinks were flowing and the food and jokes were plentiful. After some sketchy encounters with journalists in the past, Busta made it very clear that he wanted a friendlier atmosphere this go-round.

So, how was the music? Blessed, due on July 1, features an all-star roster and does not disappoint.
