Her holiday album hits stores October 14, but Coko is already laying out concepts and songs for her sophomore gospel CD due in 2009. And there’s one spot on the disc she’s saving for her old crew.

A little hip-hop, gospel, and some of…everything else. That’s what fans will get with new albums coming soon from Eminem, Coko of SWV fame, and Andre 3000.
After months of rumors, Interscope has confirmed that a new Slim Shady disc is due by the end of this year. There are no details on a release date or the first single yet.
Coko is also in the studio working on her next gospel album which is scheduled for a spring ‘09 release. In the meantime, Coko Christmas drops October 14 featuring classics from the SWV days, plus some of her newer holiday-inspired tracks from 2007’s Grateful. (more…)
