Who’d have thunk it? On the strength of “There Goes My Baby,” Charlie Wilson saw his latest offering enter the charts at number two just behind country sensation Taylor Swift and selling over 58,000 copies. Go ‘head Uncle Charlie! Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and India Arie also hold strong in the Top 10 at the number five, six and seven spots respectively. Despite mixed reviews from fans and critics alike, Beyonce and Kanye West still managed to eek out platinum certifications for their latest CD’s. Mary Mary debuts at #7 with The Sound, while Jennifer Hudson saw a boost in sales for her self-titled release, bringing her grand total to 355,000.
